What is the difference between halal and haram?

  1. In the Islamic society foods are categories in two groups which are Halal and Haram. Haram foods are foods which are forbidden to be eaten by the Muslims and Halal food are food that CAN be eaten by the Muslims.

    In Islam food are categorized in two groups, Halal and Haram. Halal foods are food that Muslims can eat in other words it is lawful for them to eat these foods, while Haram foods are foods which Muslims are forbidden to eat.eg. Pork

    halal means that which is allowed and haram means it is forbidden. eg. pork is forbidden in islam and halal eg. is a certain way of slaughtering animals

    The difference between halal and haram is that halal is allowed and haram is forbidden.
    And, in connection with food, in Islam halal are foods that the Muslims consider to b lawful and haram are foods that they consider to be unlawful

    The haram and halal is; haram means that which is not allowed and halal means that which is allowed. Eg. It is haram for family memebers to behave boisterously after the death of a loved one but it is halal to cry.
